Ingredients

1 lb (450g) flank steak, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 cup bell peppers, sliced (mix of red, yellow, and green)

1 cup broccoli florets

1 cup snap peas

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Optional: Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the sliced flank steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well to ensure the beef is evenly coated. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes while you prepare the veggies.

Prepare the Veggies: Wash and slice the bell peppers, cut the broccoli into florets, and trim the snap peas. Set aside.

Heat the Wok or Skillet: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

Stir-Fry the Beef: Add the marinated beef to the hot pan in a single layer. Allow it to sear without stirring for about 1-2 minutes, then stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set it aside.

Cook the Vegetables: In the same pan, add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, add the bell peppers, broccoli, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are vibrant and just tender but still crisp.

Combine: Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Drizzle with sesame oil and toss everything together to combine and heat through for another 1-2 minutes.

Serve: Remove from heat and serve immediately over cooked rice or noodles. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
