2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 cup water chestnuts, diced

1 cup bell peppers, finely chopped (red or yellow)

1/2 cup carrots, shredded

3 green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 head of butter lettuce (or iceberg lettuce), leaves separated

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large skillet or wok, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

    Cook the Chicken: Add the ground chicken to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and fully cooked, approximately 5-7 minutes.
