Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

4 cups cold water (divided)

1/2 cup sparkling water (optional for fizz)

Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)

Lemon slices (for garnish)

Ice cubes

Instructions

Prepare the Strawberries: In a blender, combine the sliced strawberries and half a cup of cold water. Blend until smooth. If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds. Set aside.

Make the Lemonade Base: In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.

Combine Ingredients: Add the strawberry puree to the lemon juice mixture and stir well. Pour in the remaining 3.5 cups of cold water and mix until fully combined. Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.

Add Fizz (Optional): For a refreshing twist, slowly stir in the sparkling water to add some fizz to your lemonade.

Chill: Refrigerate the strawberry lemonade for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled strawberry lemonade over the ice, and garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves and a slice of lemon.

Enjoy! Refresh yourself with this delightful summertime drink, perfect for hot days and gatherings!
