Ingredients

For the Tuna Marinade:

1 lb fresh sushi-grade tuna, diced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon lime juice

1 teaspoon honey

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 teaspoon garlic, minced

For the Strawberry Slaw:

2 cups shredded red cabbage

1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced

1/4 cup carrots, julienned

1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 tablespoon honey

Salt and pepper to taste

For Assembling Tacos:

8 small corn tortillas

1 avocado, sliced

Lime wedges for serving

Optional: Sriracha or your favorite hot sauce

Instructions

Marinate the Tuna: In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, honey, ginger, and garlic. Add the diced tuna, mixing gently to coat all pieces. Cover and refrigerate for 15-30 minutes to marinate.

Prepare the Strawberry Slaw: In a large bowl, mix together shredded cabbage, sliced strawberries, julienned carrots, and chopped cilantro. In a separate small bowl, whisk together lime juice, honey, salt, and pepper. Pour the dressing over the slaw and toss gently to combine. Set aside to let the flavors meld.

Warm the Tortillas: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the corn tortillas in the skillet, warming each for about 30 seconds on each side, or until they are pliable and slightly toasted.

Assemble the Tacos: Take a warm tortilla and add a generous portion of marinated tuna (drain excess marinade). Top with a handful of strawberry slaw and a few slices of avocado. Drizzle with optional Sriracha or hot sauce if desired.

Serve: Arrange the tacos on a platter, and serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra zing. Enjoy immediately!
