For the Shrimp:

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 tablespoons olive oil

Zest and juice of 2 limes

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon chili powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro, chopped, for garnish

For the Tacos:

8 small corn tortillas

1 cup red cabbage, finely shredded

1 avocado, sliced

½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 jalapeño, thinly sliced (optional)

Lime wedges, for serving

Marinate the Shrimp: In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, lime zest, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly. Cover and let marinate for at least 15-30 minutes in the refrigerator.

    Prepare the Cabbage and Avocado: While the shrimp marinates, prepare the salsa by mixing the sour cream (or Greek yogurt) with the lime juice in a small bowl. Set aside. Chop the cabbage and slice the avocado.

      Cook the Shrimp: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp is pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

        Warm the Tortillas: In another skillet or directly over a flame, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until they are soft and pliable.

          Assemble the Tacos: To each tortilla, add a few pieces of shrimp, a handful of shredded cabbage, a couple of slices of avocado, and a dollop of the lime-infused sour cream. If desired, add slices of jalapeño for a spicy kick.
